This was the first house where I played with permaculture ideas and concepts. It was wild and lush and fruitful and in some ways I regret having to sell the property, but so much good came from it as well, despite the original site being bull-dozed and subdivided. 😦
I was influenced deeply by Masanobu Fukuoka and reading his book The One-Straw Revolution. I have very happy memories of my time in the garden, as short as it was. Also during this time I attended my first local Introduction to Permaculture course run by Dave Coleman.
